Since 2006 I moved to the WMRC - Assistive Technology Service, ACT . This involves computer access, EC and AAC equipment, and also Integrated Systems.I learned many of the tools and techniques of a Posture and Mobility Service Specialist Rehabilitation Engineer and worked closely with a number of Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapists. These skills are particularly useful when applied to disability in computer gaming.I have undertaken all of the basic training of a Rehabilitation Engineer and continue to use these skills in my NHS employment in the Department of Healthcare Science at the WMRC where I continue to practice. I maintain my clinical competencies and keep up to date with Continuing Professional Development.
